You can record your routes with our tracking app FATTRACK, available for iOS and coming soon to Android.
FATTRACK allows you to track over 20 activities and will also sync your tracks automatically to your FATMAP account.
Once you have installed the app, open it and log in with your FATMAP email address and password.
To start tracking, hit the + button on the top right-hand side or the New Recording button on the bottom of the screen.
This will open up a new screen showing you your GPS position, altitude and a compass. From here you can select your activity by tapping the activity button on the top left-hand side of the screen. Choose your activity from the drop-down menu.
Begin recording by tapping the Start button. As you move you will see that the compass, GPS position and altitude change accordingly. The Distance, Duration, Ascent and Descent stats for your track will also be visible, along with the line of your route.
At anytime, you can hit the Pause button and then the Resume button to continue recording. You can also delete the track by tapping the delete icon (a rubbish bin).
To stop the recording, hit the Finish button. On the next screen you can add a title, description and photos to the activity.
Once you have saved the activity, if your device is connected to the internet, the track will be automatically synced to your FATMAP account. Even without an internet connection, your track will still be saved and synced to FATMAP the next time you are online.
Tap the View Map button to see your track in the FATMAP app. You can also tap the share button on the top right-hand side of the screen to share a link to your track.
