You can connect your FATMAP account to Strava on both the web and app and automatically bring in your Strava adventures to your FATMAP profile.
To connect your account via the FATMAP website:
1. Go to fatmap.com and log in or create an account
2. Hit one of the Connect with Strava buttons visible on the Guidebooks, Profile or map pages.
3. You will be asked to log in (if you haven't already) and authenticate the connection through Strava.
4. Once the connection is complete, your latest 3-5 tracks will be added to the My Adventures section of your profile.
The routes will be set to private and any new track will be added automatically.
To connect your account on the mobile app:
1. Open the FATMAP app (or install it if you haven't already)
2. Tap the Connect with Strava button, visible on the Profile tab.
3. You will be asked to log in (if you haven't already) and authenticate the connection through Strava.
4. Once the connection is complete, your latest 3-5 tracks will be added to the My Adventures section of your profile (set to Private) and any new track will be added automatically.
To delete your routes you must disconnect your Strava account from FATMAP. This will delete all your Strava routes from FATMAP.
To disconnect your account on the web:
1. Go to your Profile and select Edit Profile
2. Tap on Disconnect Strava
To disconnect on the mobile app:
1. Go to the Profile tab and tap on My Account
2. Tap on Disconnect my Strava account
We will be looking to expand the features of the Strava connection in the future to allow you to choose which tracks you would like to add to FATMAP and also edit, delete and publish them.
If you have any feedback on the Strava feature, then let us know by emailing hello@fatmap.com
