How do I access Topographic maps?

TOPOGRAPHIC MAPS ON FATMAP

Topo maps are available on both the FATMAP app and website, with 10 national topo maps also available to Explore members, including Switzerland, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Great Britain and the USA.

All the Topographic Maps can be found in the Terrain Tools menu on both the website and app:

• Our Global Topo map is available for all FATMAP users on the FATMAP App and web platform.
• Country specific Topographic maps are available for Explore members on the FATMAP App and web platform for:
  • Austria, Germany, France (IGN), Spain (IGN), New Zealand, Norway, OS Maps (Great Britain), Sweden, Switzerland (SwissTopo) and the USA (USGS Topo). 
• All topographic maps can also be included in offline map downloads 

How to access Topographic Maps

1. On both the app and web, you will find all the Topographic maps in the Terrain Tools menu on the right-hand side of the screen
   
   
   
   
2. Select either the Global Topo or one of the 10 country-specific topographic maps from the list.
3. As you can see, when the topographic maps layer is active, the map retains all functionality - you can still view all the adventures on the map and navigate as normal.
